If you are seeking a therapist who helps you feel at ease…

Someone with a variety of therapeutic modalities, who is responsive, whose knowledge you trust, who inspires growth, and who provides a human connection, you’ve come to the right place.

Because AZ Therapy Quest is an independent private pay practice, I can tailor the work to your needs, respond directly, and remain accountable for the quality and continuity of your care. The approach is chosen around your history, goals, relationships, and response to treatment—not around a fixed protocol.

The Clinician Behind the Practice

Hi, I’m Brianda Teterukov.

I created AZ Therapy Quest because I wanted therapy to feel different from the rushed, generic, impersonal care many people have experienced elsewhere.

As a client, you do not just schedule a therapy hour. You get sound clinical judgment, privacy, continuity, and a therapist who is actually thinking about you as a person, not as a slot in a system. That is why when you reach out, you work directly with me from the initial phone call through therapy. There is no large clinic system, no rotating provider, no AI note-taker listening in, and no third-party system deciding what your care should look like.

Because your care stays with me, you do not have to start over each session or keep explaining the same context. I pay attention to what repeats, what changes, what helps, and what still feels unresolved. As I understand you more fully, I adjust the work so it remains personal, thoughtful, and responsive to where you are.

Outside of the therapy hour, I may review relevant research, deepen my understanding of an issue you are facing, or seek confidential professional consultation when it would strengthen the work. I consider this part of responsible, individualized care. That is one of the reasons why I created AZ Therapy Quest. I wanted the freedom to treat psychotherapy as more than the appointment itself. Experience helps, but good therapy also requires humility, preparation, and reflection between sessions.

A More Personal Note

Therapy for the life you want to live.

Therapy should help you understand what is happening, why certain patterns keep repeating, and what meaningful change could look like in your day-to-day life. This view of therapy is rooted in both my clinical training and the unconventional path that brought me to this profession.

I came to this profession after physically demanding jobs, case management, graduate training, and years of clinical practice. I built AZ Therapy Quest one step at a time through years of effort, education, and clinical practice. This path taught me what it takes to create stability, carry responsibility, build something of your own, and navigate the pressures that come with aspirations, relationships, success, and major life decisions.

For that reason, I consider not only symptoms, but also the work, relationships, obligations, and real-world pressures surrounding them. I pay attention to what you carry, the patterns that repeat, the decisions in front of you, and the future you are trying to build. We will move beyond understanding your patterns by working with them in real time, trying different responses, and turning insight into meaningful action.

Therapy works better when your therapist can understand both the pressure you’ve carried and the life you are building.

Insight. Care. Direction.

Is This Practice a Good Fit?

Consider what you need from the therapeutic relationship.

We do not need to start with your whole life story. We can begin with the problem in front of you, look at the patterns behind it, and use the past when it helps explain why those patterns are still active.

  • You want clinical experience, structure, and enough range to recognize patterns and adjust the work.
  • You want therapy that is personal, private, and not shaped by a large clinic system.
  • You want to understand what keeps happening now, not just name the symptoms.
  • You want therapy that addresses root issues, strengthens relationships, clarifies decisions, and supports the life you are building.
  • You want enough emotional safety to speak honestly, feel understood, and explore difficult material at your own pace.
Pain is inevitable, suffering is optional.
It is your time to heal.
